This Acer is the perfect plant to give your garden summer and autumn colour! The main attraction of ‘Red Emperor’ is its stunning intricate red leaves which open up a deep rep-purple and gradually turn a blazing crimson in the autumn. ‘Red Emperor’ is great for an exposed garden as its leaves appear later than other cultivars and so have a reduced risk of frost damage from an unexpected late spring frost.
