‘Bramley’s Seedling’ Apple

Arguably the best of the cooking apples, ‘Bramley’s Seedling’ trees are vigorous growing and produce massive crops of large apples. They do turn into large trees, so that is something to think about. They produce attractive blossoms in spring but requires a pollinator and will not itself pollinate other apples. The apples are perfect for use in crumbles and pies, with the fruits ready to harvest from October. Apple trees benefit from growing in a sheltered, sunny spot so that the blossom will attract the greatest variety of pollinators and where the sun will ripen the fruit.
