Kniphofia ‘Papaya Popsicle’

An exotic looking but nonetheless relatively hardy perennial this Kniphofia is a vibrant orange-yellow resembling the colours of a ripe papaya. Common names for these plants are the Torch Lily and Red-Hot Poker. All 3 names are understandable as they look like burning torches or pokers freshly drawn from the fire – they will certainly add some visual heat to your garden. Kniphofia Papaya Popsicle is a clump-forming evergreen with graceful arching dark green leaves and sturdy, uprights flower spikes carried from Summer through to Autumn.
