Phormium ‘Jester’

Phormium ‘Jester’ is a pink and green coloured variety of Flax Lily. Its gently arching foliage is a soft pink with green margins, and if it gets a hot summer some red tubular blooms may appear. It is a striking, evergreen perennial which will make a dramatic and architectural statement wherever it gets planted. These versatile perennials are ideal for planting in beds, borders, and patio containers. In the winter they will need some protection from strong, cold, winds so it is essential to select a suitable position in a border or bed, and if it is potted up in a container, move before the winter conditions arrive. It will also appreciate full sun and at times some shade.
