Pieris ‘Debutante’

This attractive evergreen shrub is a ‘must have’ for bringing interest to spring borders. Pieris japonica ‘Debutante’ bears crowded panicles of urn-shaped, ivory-white flowers from March to May. The drooping blooms contrast well against a flush of burgundy foliage which slowly colours to green throughout the summer. This hardy shrub has a compact, rounded habit forming a mound of evergreen foliage that will bring year round colour and structure to borders and containers.
