Rock Rose – Cistus corbariensis

Cistus Corbariensis commonly known as Rock Rose is a lovely, bushy evergreen shrub which will form a dense structure. With mid green leaves which are wavy and wrinkled edges, creating a wonderfully, different display. In June and July the sun loving Cistus Corbariensis will produce wonderful masses of pure white flowers with a golden yellow centre from dark red buds. Being evergreen this Cistus does provide all year round colour with the added bonus of these pretty flowers. A great all round garden plant that can suit a variety of planting locations, including being grown in containers where it will grow well and be able to grow in gardens without grass, patios and even a sunny, sheltered balcony. Further suiting many garden types and planting schemes, making an especially big impact in rockery planting
