Phormium ‘Pink Stripe’

‘Pink Stripe’ is a clump-forming, evergreen perennial bearing broad, linear, upright to pendulous, leathery, dark bronze-green leaves with wide, bright pink margins and, on occasion, panicles of tubular, burgundy flowers borne on erect, leafless stems in summer. They are wonderful when planted up in patio containers, or in borders, and looks particularly lovely when offset with gravel. It will appreciate full sun and at times some shade, and in the winter will need protecting for cold, harsh winds. If planted in containers simply move the pots to a more sheltered and protected area.
