It has been a while since we have posted on our blog! But we are back and starting strong with our staff picks of the week! Although its not feeling like summer right now, many of our herbaceous give us that feeling and make up this weeks picks. Crocosmia ‘Lucifer’
This herbaceous plant has beautiful arching sprays of red blooms which flower for several weeks from mid to late summer. It typically grows to around 1.2 metres tall and is easy to grow. Crocosmia ‘Lucifer’ is a perfect addition to flower beds and herbaceous borders, providing tropical colour to your garden in late summer and attractive green foliage from spring to autumn.

Geranium ‘Espresso’
This geranium has lovely dark coffee coloured leaves with lilac flowers appearing in early summer. It is easy to grow and requires minimal maintenance, and you will be able to divide it in the future. It is best planted in a shady position and its maximum size is 45cm x 45 cm.

Campanula ‘Yvonne’
This is a lovely plant which will create a neat carpet in a border or rockery in your garden or will trail over the edge of a pot. Its lilac-blue flowers last for a long period from spring to summer. Campanula ‘Yvonne’ can be planted in sun or part shade, is hardy and will reach a maximum size of 15cm x 40cm.
